Ex-UM Gathering

We had a very good, "generation #1" Ex-UM gathering/lunch last Sunday at Ah Tuan Ee's in SS2.

The lunch was very kindly organized/arranged by Lee Teng (Well done! Keep up the good work!). It was really good to catch up with everyone who came ... though a few couldn't make it due to work or other commitments. This is, after all, the group that "started it all" ... that really started the "Ex-UM" traditions that has lasted throughout the last 17 years!!

We really should have these gatherings more often (Lee Teng?).

The next idea/plan in the making now is possibly a short, weekend trip to PD. It would be really good if it actually happens and I am really looking forward to it! Check back here often or email me (lykhor@pc.jaring.my) so I can keep you posted on more information as the plan develops.

UM Practice

There is no practice this Sunday morning, 23/3/2008 as many players are back in hometown for Ching Meng.

Puchong Open 2008 - Schedule

The start of the games have been delayed to 19th April 2008 weekend due to the change in Selangor government (MCA --> DAP).

The games were originally under the auspices of the MCA-led Selangor government. In view of the recent change, the games had to be delayed to give the new DAP-led government time to take over office etc.

The venue has also been changed to the SS3 basketball court - the one with a roof and where Sultan Cup was held a few years back.

This year's Annual UMBBT Trip will be to Port Dickson (PD).

All UM and Ex-UM players are highly encouraged to attend.

Ex-UM Practice

For tonight's practice, lets try a new venue/court. There is a public, lighted basketball court near Yuk Chai Primary School.

Puchong Open 2008 - Schedule

Yesterday, I have paid the registration fees for Puchong Open 2008 as well as submitted the jersey numbers and sizes.

Puchong Open 2008 is tentatively scheduled to start on the weekend of 22nd/23rd March 2008.

I will try to arrange for some "social basketball/light practice" for Ex-UM on Wednesday nights.
