After lengthy discussion, our Coaching staff has agreed on the following roster selection for the upcoming centralized training in UM to prepare for this year's 2011 MASUM Competition which will be held in UPM.

7. Lew Chee Ching
8. Lim Jinn Wen

11. Teh Wai Heng
12. Yap Che Kai
13. Wong Jack Sheng
14. Wong Min Jia
As can be seen, the coaching staff has selected 14 players. At the end of centralized training, the roster will be further cut down to the final 12 selected players, based on attitude, ability, commitment, dedication, contribution and consistency of performance. The remaining 2 players who attends centralized training but is ultimately not selected to be on the final MASUM team will also be invited to join the team at UPM where if they are willing, they will still be able to contribute to the team and still be very much an integral part of the team.
The above also means that no player is "guaranteed" or "assured" a spot on the final 12 players list and that each and every one of the above 14 players stand a fighting chance to be selected.
We Coaches are indeed excited at the potential of our team this year and we firmly believe that if we all, players and coaches alike, dedicate ourselves and make the necessary commitment and sacrifices, we have an excellent chance to be GREAT again and to repeat as CHAMPIONS!
For now, concentrate on your exams preparations, stay healthy and try to stay as fit as possible (join Ex-UM practices whenever you can). We look forward to seeing all of you together again when centralized training begins. Specific details of centralized training will be notified to you by SMS and / or here.
